Pumpkin Muffins1 box of yellow cake mix (dry) 1 bag of cinnamon chips* (Hershey’s I use) 1 15 oz. can of pure pumpkin, ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans-optional Mix cake mix, chips, nuts and pumpkin together. Pour mixture into lined muffin tins. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20-22 minutes.

GENOA — Genoa Medical Facilities is providing education on our Swing Bed program that is offered at the Hospital. The Swing Bed program is a rehabilitative care program that is utilized by patients who have had a three-day acute care hospital stay prior to this program.

Nebraska Public Media honored with 2025 Nebraska Literary Heritage Award

LINCOLN — The Nebraska Literary Heritage Association presented Nebraska Public Media with the 2025 Nebraska Literary Heritage Award on Thursday, Oct. 9 during the association’s annual Spelling Bee at Screamers Family Restaurant in Lincoln.

Bloodmobile collects 51 units

Fullerton Bloodmobile was held Oct. 14th. Our awesome donors gave 51 units, which was only 2 short of our quota. We are so grateful. Those giving doubles were Pat Larsen and Tom Bialas. Walk-ins were Anne Wemhoff and Julie Riewer.
