Goal reached: 5000 quilts sent to mission work

The Tuesday Morning Quilters achieved their goal of 5000 quilts being sent to the Orphan Grain Train in Norfolk for distribution worldwide last week!Tuesday Morning Quilters began in 2013 as the St. John Lutheran Quilters.

Members of the local 4-H Club delivered roses to the residents of Accura Healthcare facility and Valley View Assisted Living. The group included Kiptyn Hamik, Kyle Horn, Molly Dubas, Rayna Hamik, Reese Dubas, Colton Harris and Landen Glup.

Valley View residents celebrate Valentine’s Day with dinner, show

The residents at Valley View celebrated Valentine’s Day last week with dinner and live entertainment. Residents were en couraged to invite a guest and Kay Swerczek was on hand to sing love songs.
