A freshman at Eagle Rock Junior High School won first prize at the Greater Idaho Falls Science Fair. His project was to discover how many people would ban a “dangerous” chemical if only given partial (but accurate) information about its characteristics.

The next Merrick Arts Council program in Central City will feature instrumentalist and vocalist Chad and Elaine Stoner on Sunday, October 26 at 2:00 p.m. Their concert will combine their distinct voices in interpreting classic songs ranging from the Great American Songbook to current popular gems.
