FULLERTON — The holiday spirit will be in full swing in downtown Fullerton on Friday, Dec. 5, as the community gathers for its annual Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration: “Miracle on Main Street.” This year’s festivities promise to be bigger and brighter than ever!
The centerpiece of the evening will be a beautiful, vintage carousel bringing nostalgic charm and twinkling lights to Main Street. Children and adults alike can enjoy the timeless joy of a carousel ride as music fills the crisp winter air.
But that’s just the beginning. The event will feature a wide variety of vendors offering holiday crafts, gifts and homemade treats — perfect for Christmas shopping while supporting local artisans. Attendees can warm up with a hearty meal from the chili cook-off, savory tacos and loaded baked potatoes. Top it all off with smore’s by the fire and some warm, rich hot chocolate.
Of course no Christmas celebration would be complete without a visit from Santa Claus, who will be greeting children and taking photos throughout the evening. Families can also enjoy hayrack rides around Main Street, adding to the festive small-town charm.
For those who love a little friendly competition, this year’s lineup includes an ugly sweater contest for dogs and a puzzle competition for yourself. Both are sure to bring plenty of laughs and community spirit.
And new this year, luminaries in memory of loved ones this holiday season will be lighting up the sidewalks with love and light.
