Life Chain Sunday is Oct. 1

Sunday, October 1 is designated as Life Chain Sunday across the nation. Columbus area churches will come together with other Nebraska communities and over 1,000 communities in the United States and Canada to pray together for the end of abortion and for the victims of abortion.

Gottsch promoted to Equipment Operator

COLUMBUS — Loup Power District recently promoted Scott Gottsch to Equipment Operator. In his new role, Gottsch operates the District’s heavy equipment and is part of the crew that performs maintenance on the canal system from Genoa to Columbus.

Prososki marks 30 years at Loup

COLUMBUS — Headworks Supervisor Randy Prososki was recently recognized for 30 years of service to Loup Power District. Prososki joined Loup in 1993 as a Maintenance Technician at the Headworks. He was promoted to Dredge Operator in 1997 and transferred to Heavy Equipment Operator in 2018.
