FULLERTON — In 2019 a group of Fullerton residents got together with the idea to bring a little more unity to the community. The hope was to have an event that would help local business, bring in people from outside of Fullerton and bring the community closer together.

GENOA — The voters have spoken.Twin River will not be getting a new school building, at least not at this time. A special election was held last Tuesday to decide the fate of a $48.5 million bond for a new school building. Preliminary results show measure failed, 659-512.

GENOA — School year programs are officially underway! We had our first Lego Day on Wednesday, September 6th. The challenge given was to make their names using Legos! It was wonderful seeing how creative the kids could be with the Legos! A few of the names are on display at the library.

End of an era: Koala-T begins final year

FULLERTON — For 32 years Elaine Sims has been a fixture of Fullerton’s preschools.
She has run Koala-T preschool for more than two decades and before that, she worked with Head Start. This year will be her final year of teaching and running Koala-T.
