FULLERTON — A second candidate has entered the county supervisor race in Nance County.Steve Crouse will run for re-election as a Republican for Nance County Supervisor.He is the fourth candidate to file for the May 12 primary.

FULLERTON — You can be the proud owner of a piece of Fullerton sports history.The district announced on Monday that they are holding a surplus uniform sale at the Jan. 27 and 30 basketball games. Uniforms from a variety of decades and sports will be available.

The Knights of Columbus Fullerton Council 7954 held their annual free throw shooting contest on Sunday afternoon at Fullerton High School. Thirty kids stepped up to the line to show their shooting skills.

Church to celebrate 90th anniversary

FULLERTON — In 1934 a group of 50 worshipers conducted their first service and became Mt. Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church. In 1935 they rented a building of another denomination, then purchased property and created a basement chapel in 1950.

Free throw competition is Sunday

FULLERTON — Calling all hoopers.The Knights of Columbus free throw shooting contest is Sunday.The contest will begin at 1 p.m. at Fullerton High School. Doors open at 12:30 p.m.Boys and girls ages 9-14 can participate. Anyone under the age of 8 can shoot for fun.

Dinner, dueling pianos support Genoa firefighters

GENOA— Mark your calendar for a night of good food and piano entertainment.The Genoa Volunteer Fire Department are putting their finishing touches on plans for the 5th annual Fund-raiser Meal and Dueling Pianos. The event is Saturday, March 7 beginning at 5 p.m. at the fire hall.

School board reorganizes, keeps officers same

FULLERTON — The Fullerton Schools Board of Education met on Monday and reorganized for the year.The board voted to keep the same officers as 2025. Beth Sonderup will remain the board president. Brad Anderson will remain vice president. Brian Aaberg will remain secretary.
