5 chili teams compete for 3 trophies

FULLERTON — Sample different chilis and support Fullerton students.Fullerton TeamMates are just days away from their inaugural Chili Cook-Off fund-raiser and it is shaping up to be one of the group’s biggest fundraisers to date. The big event is Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the Eagles Club.

FULLERTON — There is still time to join in on the holiday fun surrounding the Tree of Love.The Tree of Love is in its 31st year. Each year 1st Bank & Trust puts up a tree in their Fullerton branch and members of the community select a name tag and purchase gifts for the stranger on the tag.

Museum open on Friday

NCJ Staff ReportFULLERTON — The Fullerton Museum will be open on Friday, Dec. 5 from 2-5 p.m.The open house is part of Fullerton’s Old Fashioned Christmas celebration.Visitors can enjoy apple cider and a candy cane from the tree. They will also have a Guess the Candy in the jar.

COLUMBUS — Fullerton Division Superintendent Guy Imus was recently recognized for 40 years of service to Loup Power District.Imus joined Loup in 1985 as an Apprentice Line Technician at Fullerton.He was promoted to Line Technician in 1986 and to Journey Line Technician in 1989.
