Veterans Memorial receives $1,000 grant

The Nance County Veterans Memorial and Military Resource Center recently received notice that they were awarded a $1,000 grant from the Nebraska State Historical Society Foundation. The grant will be used for the creation of a children’s library.

NSP warns of counterfeit pills after recent overdoses

McCOOK — The Nebraska State Patrol is raising awareness about multiple overdose cases in southwest Nebraska.In the last three days, there have been two overdose cases in the area. NSP has been in contact with several local agencies regarding the potential of a connection between these cases.
