Three nominees forwarded for District Court Judge in the Fifth Judicial District

LINCOLN — The Judicial Nominating Commission for the District Court Judge in the Fifth Judicial District provided the following three names for consideration by Governor Jim Pillen: Jason S. Doele, Norfolk; Julie L. Reiter, David City; and Breanna D. Flaherty of Columbus.

Burn ban expires, no additional order to be issued by Gov. Pillen

LINCOLN —Aburn ban from Governor Jim Pillen expire d at midnight Wednesday. The order was issued on May 9 and largely covers the central and western parts of the state. During that time, permits were allowed for irrigation districts to burn off vegetation in ditches.
