Capitol illuminated orange for Genoa Indian School

LINCOLN — Winter weather postponed plans to illuminate the Nebraska State Capitol orange to honor the survivors and descendants of the Genoa Indian Industrial School.Originally scheduled to happen on Thursday, Feb. 20, state officials announced that the plans were moved to Feb.

KEARNEY — Nine members of the Fullerton band have been selected for the Class D All-State Band.Riley Thomas and Kinzie Sharman will perform with the Jazz Band. Lylla Sabata and Makayla Robinson will perform with the Wind Ensemble.
