Nathan joins bank staff

Taylor Nathan joined the staff at First Bank & Trust of Fullerton. Her first day as a teller was Oct. 15. She said that what drew her to the bank was knowing the kind of people who worked at the bank and knew it would be a great environment to work. She previously worked in health care.

Raffle supports veterans

Leta Liesch, representing Lutheran Women’s Mission League, presented Jonathan Epley and the Nance County Veteran’s Museum with a $1,135 donation from their recent raffle. The funds will be used for renovating expenses on the new addition to the museum. Thank you to all who purchased a ticket.

LLNRD to host informational meetings in St. Paul and Palmer

Spring static water level readings that the Lower Loup NRD staff has collected twice annually since 1975 have indicated that Water Quantity Management Area 19 has become an area of concern regarding groundwater depletions and ongoing drought impacts.

During the fall and spring planting season, starter fertilizers or bone meal are often promoted for incorporating into soil. The reason is to supply phosphorous (P) to promote root growth.

Fullerton water safe to drink

FULLERTON — The boil order has been lifted.The City of Fullerton announced on Saturday that the water was again safe to consume. Residents were under the order since Oct. 18 after E. coli was found in Fullerton’s water supply.

Loup cookbooks available to customers
