FULLERTON — Ellie Meysenburg outlasted six of her classmates to win the Nance County Spelling Bee last week.Meysenburg, a seventh grader, was excited to win.“I was feeling pretty confident,” she said, though she admitted that she did not expect to win.

FULLERTON — George Palmer is celebrating a career milestone this month having worked as a funeral director for 50 years.Palmer graduated from Fullerton High School in 1970.
