Jeanette Ellen Wozniak

Jeanette Ellen Wozniak, 93, of Fullerton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2023, at Arbor Care Center in Fullerton.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 23, 2023, at Palmer-Santin Funeral Home in Fullerton with Pastor Joy Church officiating. Burial will follow at Fullerton Cemetery in Fullerton. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Palmer-Santin Funeral Home is serving the family.

Jeanette was born June 30, 1930 to Henry and Catherine (Ream) Johnson at Susanville, Calif. She grew up and attended school in New Virginia, Iowa. Her family moved to Beatrice and she graduated from Beatrice High School in Beatrice. After, she attended Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln. On Oct. 21, 1950, she was united in marriage to Harold K. Dissmeyer in Beatrice. To this union, four children were born: Mark, Kathy, Judy, and Clark. They made their home in Shelton for many years before moving to Fullerton. While in Fullerton, she worked at the dentist office and the dime store. In 1973, Harold passed away. She then married Lawrence Wozniak Sr. and they continued living in Fullerton, where she resided until her passing.

Jeanette was a member of Flower Belles, Red Hat Society, American Legion Auxiliary, Eastern Star, and United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being active and loved gardening and bowling. She also loved watching Husker sports. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Mark (Nancy) Dissmeyer of Kearney, Kathy Potter of Overland Park, KS, Judy Dissmeyer of Omaha, and Clark Dissmeyer of Kearney; six grandchildren, Amy Dissmeyer, Katie (Don) Mitchum, David (Britani) Potter, Jeff Potter, Jesse Bayliss, and Jeanie (Jon) Shipman; six great-grandchildren; step-children, Barbara Elliott of Grand Island, Lawrence (Rhonda) Wozniak Jr. of Kearney, Francis (Cynthia) Wozniak of Fairbanks, AK, and Mary (Bobby) Franco of Salina, KS; 12 step-grandchildren and 18 step-great-grandchildren; brother, Douglas Johnson of Bella Vista, AR; and one nephew, Cary (Suzi) Johnson.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Harold and Lawrence; two infant sons; her parents; and sister-in-law, Jamesetta Johnson.
