STATE BOUND

OMAHA — This is what the whole season has been about. The Warriors are heading back to Omaha Burke Stadium.Fullerton is sending seven athletes to compete in the NSAA Class D State Championships on Friday and Saturday.Six boys will compete at State.

Scheffler qualifies for Class D State at Quail Run

LEIGH — Cayden Scheffler will represent Fullerton next week at the Quail Run Golf Course in Columbus for the Class D 2025 Boys Golf State Championships.Scheffler finished seventh overall, shooting an 85 at the D-2 District at Club 91 Golf Course in Leigh.

Titan season ends at district meet despite PRs

DAVID CITY — Twin River saw its track season end on Thursday at the district meet, despite a number of Titan athletes putting up their best performances of the year.The Twin River girls finished ninth at the C-5 District in David City.

Warriors chasing State glory

OSCEOLA — The Warriors are chasing gold.Fullerton had seven athletes qualify for the NSAA Class D State Championships on Friday and Saturday. The Warriors competed in the D-2 District at Osceola on Wednesday.Fullerton’s boys team (49 points) finished fifth at the district.

Next stop: District meet

STROMSBURG — The Fullerton boys track and field team posted a top five finish at the Cross County Invite on Thursday and Twin River placed ninth out of 10 teams in action.Heartland (123) and East Butler (109) locked down the top two spots with Fullerton’s 67 points a distant third.

Titans tested at conference meet

OSCEOLA — Twin River concluded the regular season on Monday at the Crossroads Conference golf meet at Ryan Hill Country Club in Osceola.The Titans finished with a team score of 487. Cross County took home the team title, finishing with a team score of 338.
