Titans find winning ways, go 3-1 on week

STANTON — Twin River continued its golf season last week with a triangular at Elkhorn Acres Golf Club.Corbin Rodriguez finished with the low score on the day, carding a 41. Gavin Vanek shot a 46. The Titans shot a 210 as a team.Stanton finished with a team score of 188.

Warriors finish 3rd at Wood River Invite

WOOD RIVER — Fullerton finished third last week at the Wood River Invite.The Warriors finished with a team score of 367, one stroke behind Central City. Kearney Catholic took home the team title, carding a 322.Kip Hamik led the Warriors with an 80, finishing fourth overall.

Still time to register for hoops camp

Mike Trader’s Annual Mid-America Basketball Camp will conduct eight individual sessions this summer. The overnight and commuter camps for boys and girls will be held on July 6-9 at Doane University and July 20-23 at Central Community College in Columbus.

ALBION — The track season continued last Tuesday for Fullerton at the Mansfield Invite at Boone Central.Sami Sullivan finished fourth in the shot put with a 32-06.50.Kane Wetovick finished second in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:10.90 and fourth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 55.04.

RAYMOND — Raymond Central scored four runs in the final three innings to beat Twin River 7-6 last Monday.After falling behind 3-0, the Titans scored one run in the third, added four runs in the fourth and one more run in the fifth to take a 6-3 lead.
