No. 7 Tigers spoil Titan homecoming

GENOA — An undefeated Class D-2 No. 7 East Butler came to town looking to rain on the Twin River homecoming parade.Tigers senior quarterback Grant Kozisek carried the ball 22 times for 219 yards and scored 5 rushing touchdowns.

GENOA — Mustangs to the left and Mustangs to the right. And smack in the middle were the Titans.Twin River had to settle for a split when they took on Class D-2 No. 4 Meridian and McCool Junction on Thursday. Meridian came out on top 29-27, 25-15.

FREMONT — Twin River continued the cross country season on Thursday, running in the Bergan Catholic - Joe Wojtkiewicz Invitational at Camp Calvin Crest.The Yutan boys edged East Butler by a point, finishing with a team score of 23. Aquinas Catholic finished third with 27 points.

HENDERSON — The Warriors completed a busy golf week. The ladies had a quad meet on Tuesday and competed at the H&H Invite on Thursday.Fullerton finished fifth overall with a team score of 476 on Thursday at the H&H Invite at Gallaway Creek Golf Course.
