STROMSBURG — The Fullerton boys track and field team posted a top five finish at the Cross County Invite on Thursday and Twin River placed ninth out of 10 teams in action.Heartland (123) and East Butler (109) locked down the top two spots with Fullerton’s 67 points a distant third.

Titans tested at conference meet

OSCEOLA — Twin River concluded the regular season on Monday at the Crossroads Conference golf meet at Ryan Hill Country Club in Osceola.The Titans finished with a team score of 487. Cross County took home the team title, finishing with a team score of 338.

GRAND ISLAND — Fullerton finished third in the Goldenrod Conference meet on Wednesday at Indianhead Golf Course in Grand Island.The Warriors finished with a team score of 379. Archangels Catholic took home the team title with a 348.

Titans rally, but Warriors get walk off win in extra innings

FORT CALHOUN — The Titans rallied late to force extra innings, but the Warriors ended Twin River’s season in the opening round of the C-3 District on Thursday.Kruz Fiddler hit a two-out single in the bottom of the ninth inning to give Lincoln Lutheran a 3-2 win over Twin River.

Warriors seek GRC glory

HUMPHREY — Fullerton traveled to Humphrey on Friday for the Goldenrod Conference track meet.The Warrior boys finished fifth with 48 points. Riverside took home the boys team title. The Warrior girls finished 10th with 6 points. Nebraska Christian took home the girls team title.

OSCEOLA — Twin River tested their times against rest of the Crossroads Conference on Saturday at the conference meet in Osceola.The Titans were short-handed for the meeting. The district’s graduation ceremonies were also scheduled for Saturday.Twin River’s girls finished ninth with 17 points.

HASTINGS — Fullerton finished 11th overall on Thursday at the St. Cecilia Invite at Southern Hills Golf Course.The Warriors shot a 420 on the day. Adams Central took home the team title, finishing with a 331.Cayden Scheffler led the Warriors with a 93 to finish 19th overall. Tate Wood shot a 105.
