Warriors earn medals at golf invites

ST. PAUL — Fullerton had two players medal at the St. Paul Invite on Friday.Tate Wood finished 11th overall, finishing with an 84. Cayden Scheffler finished with an 89 to finish 12th. The Warriors finished fifth as a team, finishing with a 381. St. Paul won their invite with a team score of 295.

Warriors run home track for away meet

FULLERTON — It wasn’t their invite, but it was their home track.Fullerton boys finished fifth overall at the Palmer Invite on Friday. The girls team finished 10th. The Nebraska Christian girls and Central Valley boys took home the team titles.

Titans compete at David City Invite

DAVIDCITY—TwinRivertraveled to David City on Wednesday for the David City Invite.Corbin Rodriguez led the way for the Titans with a 91. Chance Swantek finished with a 101.Twin River travels to Humphrey on Thursday for the Archangels Catholic Invite at Steepleview Golf Course.

Warriors tested by state’s top runners

GRAND ISLAND—Fullerton was tested against some of the best the State of Nebraska has to offer on Monday.The Warriors competed in two events at the Central Nebraska Track Championships at Northwest High School in Grand Island.

ALBION — Fullerton and Twin River golfers had a busy week, competing in three different events last week.The Warriors finished 6th overall on Thursday at the Boone Central Invite with a team score of 365. The Titans finished 12th with a 447. Norfolk Catholic took home the team title, shooting a 323.

NELIGH — Fullerton’s boys track team finished second at the Neligh-Oakdale Invite last week.The Warriors finished with 101 points. Fullerton’s girls finished ninth overall with 17.5 points.

Jeffs hand Titans 4th straight loss

GENOA — Twin River gave up 7 runs in the top of the seventh inning on Thursday as Fairbury rallied to win 11-8, handing the Titans their fourth straight loss.The Ti tans used a 5-run third inning to take control of the contest early.

OSCEOLA — Twin River traveled to Osceola on Wednesday for the High Plains Invite.The boys team finished eighth overall with 27 points. Aquinas Catholic took home the team title with 95 points.Adam Warren finished second in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 46.37, just 0.
