FULLERTON — Fullerton and Twin River competed last week in the Fullerton Invite.Fullerton’s boys and girls each finished sixth overall. Twin River’s boys finished eighth and a limited number of girls competed, finishing 12th overall.

CAIRO — Fullerton finished sixth overall at the Wood River Invite at Centura Hills Golf Course.Kearney Catholic took home the team title, shooting a 313. Fullerton finished with a 413.Fullerton’s Cayden Scheffler finished eighth overall, shooting an 89 on the day.

NORFOLK — Twin River traveled to Norfolk for a quad with Madison, Howells-Dodge and Stanton at Fairplay Golf Course.Twin River finished third with a team score of 241. Stanton finished with a team low score of 220.

DAVID CITY — Twin River traveled to David City last Wednesday for the Aquinas Invite at the David City Golf Course.Corbin Rodriguez finished 15th overall, finishing the day with a 95.Twin River opened the season last Monday with a triangular against Aquinas and Lutheran NE at Pawnee Hills.

Dubas selected for 8-Man all-star game

HASTINGS — Nance County will be represented at the Sertoma 8-Man All-Star game in June.Fullerton senior Fletcher Dubas has been selected to the West roster. He led the county with 935 passing yards and 20 touchdown passes. He also ran for 945 yards on 184 carries and 16 touchdowns.

ALBION — Fullerton was back in action last Tuesday at the Mansfield Invite at Boone Central.Makayla Robinson finished third in the 1600-meter run with a time of 6:02.80, while Jaci Maxfield finished fifth with a time of 6:04.26.Fletcher Dubas finished second in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.
