Warriors stay unbeaten at home

The Warriors are playing their best basketball of the year and are now winners in their last four games.Fullerton traveled to Central City on Thursday and defeated Nebraska Christian 61-41 and played host to Heartland on Friday, winning 42-36 to improve to 7-4 on the year.

Warriors drop pair to No. 9 Eagles, Huskies

The Warriors will look to regroup ahead of the Goldenrod Conference Tournament when they play Palmer on Thursday.The Warriors dropped a pair of games last week, falling to Class D-1 No. 9 Nebraska Christian, 54-31, and Heartland, 35-34.

Warriors finish 8th at Summerland

SUMMERLAND — Fullerton wrestlers traveled to Summerland on Saturday for the Bobcat Invite.Fullerton finished 8th overall with 64.5 point. Pender took home the team title with 120.5 points, edging second place Guardian Angels Central Catholic by 1.5 points.Tate Wood finished 1st at 113 pounds.

Titans have busy wrestling week

GENOA — The Titans had a busy wrestling week.Twin River played host to Neligh-Oakdale and Central Valley in a triangular on Thursday. They traveled to Winside on Friday for an invite before finishing the week in David City at the Aquinas Invite.

Warrior girls in Manstedt Invite

COLUMBUS — Fullerton’s girls wrestling team competed at the Norm Manstedt Invite at the Columbus Fieldhouse on Thursday.Norfolk took home the Class A team title, earning 196 points. Lakeview took home the Class B team title with 157.5 points. They edged Yutan, who finished second with 141 points.

Titan defense steps up, leads to win over Panthers

ST. EDWARD — The outcome was never in doubt.Twin River (6-4) opened the game shooting the lights out in St. Edward, cruising to a 55-29 win over Newman Grove/St. Edward. Never trailing in the game, the Titans used stingy defense and a red-hot offense to take control early. They never looked back.

ST. EDWARD — A fast start to the game and a timely stop in the fourth quarter lifted Twin River over Newman Grove/St. Edward on Thursday.The Titans defeated the Panthers 51-45 to improve to 4-6 on the year.Twin River opened the game on a 15-1 run. Newman Grove/St.

Warriors cruise to 65-37 win over Spartans

FULLERTON — A big third quarter lifted the Warriors to a win on Tuesday.Fullerton (5-4) used a 26-point third quarter to take control of their game with Ansley/Litchfield, cruising to a 65-37 home win. The game was rescheduled from December.
