Titans top Knights for 1st win of year

GENOA— Twin River put an end to a two-game losing streak last week, defeating Nebraska Lutheran 63-50 to pick up their first win of the season.Twin River opened the game game-hot from the field, building to a 6-point lead after the first quarter.

Warriors get 56-32 road win over Cougars

GREELEY — Fullerton scored their highest point total of the season on Thursday as they picked up their first win of the season by defeating Central Valley 56-32.The win snapped a 3-game losing streak to open the season.The Warriors (1-3) had seven players get in on the scoring.

Warrior trio among best at Osceola

OSCEOLA — Fullerton traveled to Osceola on Saturday for the Osceola Invite.Central Valley took home the team title with 143.0 points. Fullerton finished 11th out of 19 teams with 59.5 points.Mason Hemmingsen (106 pounds) and Tate Wood (113 pounds) each finished second in their weight classes.

Winter weather remains undefeated

Winter weather caused several delays and cancellations last week.Fullerton’s home basketball games against Ansley-Litchfield were postponed on Friday. A rescheduled date has not been announced.

BROKEN BOW — Twin River opened their wrestling season on Saturday at the Broken Bow Invite.Zach Held was undefeated on the day at 120 pounds. He finished with 2 pins on the day and defeated St. Paul’s Derrick Ruzicka by a technical fall in a 17-2 decision in the match to decide first place.
