Warriors fall to No. 10 Panthers, 64-54

BANCROFT — Another couple of minutes and the outcome may have been different.Fullerton (5-4) saw its season come to an end on Thursday in the opening round of the Class D2 playoffs, falling to No. 10 Bancroft-Rosalie, 64-54.The Warriors came out swinging to open the game.
Fullerton was well-represented at the Class D Cross Country State meet. Makayla Robinson (left) finished 93rd overall out of 119 runners with a time of 23:30, Morgan Supik finished 50th overall with a time of 22:02 and Tate Wood finished 77th overall out of 124 runners with a time of 18:59. KEARNEY — It’s been a long road to the Class D Cross Country State Championships. And that road has a lot of miles.Fullerton had three runners participate in the state meet on Friday at Kearney Country Club.

Warriors fall in 5 sets at subdistrict

Fullerton’s volleyball season came to an end on Monday in the D1-6 Subdistrict at Nebraska Christian. Fullerton fell to Riverside, winning the first two sets, 25-23, 25-19, before dropping three straight sets to the Chargers, 25-22, 2519, 15-7. Official stats from Monday’s match were unavailable.

Volleyball and football titles will be on TV

LINCOLN — November brings NSAAState High School Volleyball and Football championships to Nebraska Public Media.Volleyball championships are Saturday, Nov. 9 with Class D-2 at 9 a.m., followed by Class D-1 at 11 a.m., Class C-2 at 1 p.m., Class C-1 at 3 p.m., Class B at 5 p.m., Class A at 7 p.m.

HISTORY ACHIEVED

Twin River’s football team did something this year that no other Titan squad was able to accomplish. The team finished the season with a winning record. Twin River shutout Humphrey-Lindsay Academy 40-0 on Friday to wrap up the football season.

Titans achieve winning season

GENOA — For the first time in Twin River’s school history, the Titans have finished the season with a winning record.The playoffs were never in the cards for this Titans squad. Going into the season they knew they were not going to be playoff eligible.

Warriors hit road for playoffs

The Warriors are headed for the football playoffs.Fullerton (5-3) travel to Bancroft-Rosalie (7-1) on Thursday for the opening round of the Class D2 playoffs. Kickoff is at 6 p.m.The Panthers enter the playoffs coming off a 54-28 loss to Wynot.
