Warriors, Titans compete at Fullerton Invite

FULLERTON — Home cooking never hurt anyone.Fullerton played host to 11 teams on Tuesday for the Fullerton Invite. Twin River made the short drive for their second outdoor meet of the season.Fullerton’s boys finished third overall with 72 points.

Warriors compete at Mansfield Invite

ALBION — Delayed a few days because of cold weather and with snow still on the ground, Fullerton’s track team traveled to Boone Central on Thursday for the Mansfield Invite.Roe Patton won the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 44.04 and finished second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.75.

Titans rally for second win of season

GENOA — Twin River scored 8 runs in the final two innings to come from behind and beat Centennial 11-7 and earn their second win on the season.Trailing 5-3, the Titans (2-3) opened the bottom of the fifth inning with back-to-back batters getting hit by pitches.

Fullerton opens golf season at Pawnee Hills

FULLERTON — The Warriors got their first taste of competition with some home cooking on Thursday.Fullerton opened the golf season playing host to Central City, Central Valley and High Plains at Pawnee Hills Golf Club. The Bison finished with a lowest team score on the day, shooting a 168.

Titans finish 6th at Aquinas Golf Invite

DAVID CITY — The Titans opened the season against six other teams on Thursday at the Aquinas Golf Invite at David City Golf Club. Clay Brandenburger Twin River finished sixth with a team score of 392. Scotus took home the team title with a score of 316.

Titans look for improvements every day

GENOA — It’s a long track season and Twin River is looking to see improvement each time they step on the track.“Every meet they have a goal to improve from the last one,” Twin River coach Mindy Swanson said. “We are big on ‘PR’s’ within our team and celebrate them after every meet.

Titans bring back good nucleus of players

GENOA — Twin River has entered year No. 2 of its baseball coop with Osceola.This year’s squad features 11 players from Twin River and six players from Osceola.

Late 10-run rally steals win from Titans

GENOA — Twin River gave up 10 runs in the top of the seventh inning as Ralston rallied for a 16-9 win.The Titans (1-3) were three outs away from their second win of the season of Thursday when the Rams started their comeback bid.
