Titans go 2-1 at conference

CLARKSON — The Titans picked up a pair of consolation wins over the weekend at the East Husker Conference Tournament. Twin River opened the conference tournament on Thursday, falling to Humphrey/ Lindsay Holy Family, 25-7, 25-12. Briley Cuba had 3 kills for the Titans.

Warriors send 2 runners to State

HASTINGS — The Warriors are sending two runners to state. Justin Horn and Morgan Supik qualified for the NSAA Cross Country Championship on Oct. 20 at Kearney Country Club. Fullerton ran in the D-4 District at Elks Country Club on Wednesday.

Plumbtree hits 1,000th career kill

FULLERTON — McKenna Plumbtree hit her 1,000th career kill last week in a tightly contested match with D-1 No. 8 Nebraska Christian. The Eagles defeated the Warriors 25-20, 2521, 25-23 last Tuesday.

Warriors see best finish at State golf

NORTH PLATTE — The Warriors had their best finish at girls’ golf state in school history, finishing 10th. Keila Dubas tied the school-best two-day score at the state meet. Fullerton finished their season Monday and Tuesday at Class C State at Lake Maloney Golf Club in North Platte.

HOWELLS — Twin River girls volleyball were swept in a triangular on Thursday, falling 25-15, 25-15 to D-2 No. 10 Howells-Dodge and 25-8, 25-10 to C-2 No. 5 Humphrey/Lindsey Holy Family. Briley Cuba and Chloe Pilakowski each had 5 kills against the Jaguars.

Records set in final Titan football game of season

GENOA — The football season may be over, but the Titans went out in style, breaking multiple team and individual records on their way out. Twin River (2-5) defeated Madison (2-5) in a 67-26 blowout to wrap the regular season.

Warriors send seniors out on top at home

FULLERTON — One last home game for the seniors. One last win in front of the home crowd. One last chance to ring the Victory Bell. Fullerton sent their seniors out on top on Friday, defeating Giltner 64-28 to improve to 4-3 on the year. Fullerton leads Twin River 38-7 at halftime.
