FULLERTON — The Warriors finished second on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at the Fullerton Invite at Pawnee Hills Golf Course.
Keilia Dubas finished 6th overall with a 90. Melinda Pickrel finished 8th with a 97. Columbus Scotus’s Cecilia Arndt won the event with a 69.

Titans still searching for first win

MADISON — It could have gone either way.
Twin River is still looking for their first volleyball win of the season after falling to Madison 3-1 on Thursday.
The Titans (015) were backed into a corner on Thursday, dropping the first two sets 25-23 and 25-14.

Fullerton splits with CWC, Stuart

WHEELER — Fullerton earned a split last Tuesday, defeating Chambers/Wheeler Central in two sets and falling to Class D-2 No. 5 Stuart in two sets.
The Warriors won the first set against the Renegades 2523 before cruising to a 25-8 win in the second set.

Titans fall to No. 3 Cougars, 58-8

STROMSBURG — They knew it was going to be a tough day at the office.
Twin River (1-3) took on No. 3 Cross County (4-0) on the road on Friday and the Cougar offense did pretty much anything it wanted enroute to a 58-8 win over the Titans.

GENOA — Fullerton can claim Nance County dominance following a three-set sweep of Twin River on Thursday.
The Warriors cruised to a 2517, 25-17, 25-14 win over the Titans. Fullerton coach Theresa Bridger was pleased with how her team controlled the tempo of the match.

GRAND ISLAND — Class C No. 8 Twin River gave up 10 runs in the final 3 innings to lose on the road to Grand Island Central Catholic 13-5 in 6 innings.
Marcie Spitz went 2-for-3 with a home run and 3 RBIs. Kylie Elm picked up two hits, including a double, for the Titans.
