No. 3 Jaguars too much for Warriors

HOWELLS — It wasn’t always pretty, but Warriors never gave up. Fullerton (0-2) hit the road on Friday, taking on No. 3 Howells-Dodge (2-0). The Jaguar running attack gave the Warriors trouble all night, cruising to a 54-20 win.

Warriors split home triangular

FULLERTON — The Warriors picked up their first two wins on the season last week at home. Georgia Bridger Isabel Norman Fullerton fell to Central Valley before bouncing back to defeat Riverside on Thursday. Central Valley also defeated Riverside in two sets.

No. 7 Titans shut out Vipers, 6-0

GENOA — Twin River finished the week strong, shutting out NEN in a 6-0 home win on Saturday. JLee Van Driel JLee Van Driel went 4-for-4 on the day, including a triple, and finished with 2 RBIs to lead the Titan offense. She also stole 5 bases in the game.

Titans fall to ‘Dawgs in 3 sets

OSCEOLA — The Twin River Titans traveled to Osceola in volleyball Thursday evening. Set one started out with a Bulldog lead but the Titans caught up with a block from Chloe Pilakowski. Titans took the lead from some Bulldog errors. Then Osceola came back to tie it up at five points.

Warrior golfers finish 7th at GICC

GRAND ISLAND — Fullerton finished 7th out of 16 teams on Thursday at the GICC Invite held at Indianhead Golf Course. Keila Dubas was Fullerton’s top performer, finishing 18th and carding a 99 at the invitational.

Warriors see better times in Albion

ALBION — Two Warriors earned medals on Friday at the Boone Central Invitational at Albion Country Club as Fullerton runners continue to see their times improve. Justin Horn finished 20th in the boys race with a time of 18:38.50. Morgan Supik finished 18th in the girls race with a time of 23:15.50.

Warriors fall to No. 7 Cougars at home

FULLERTON — Fullerton ran into a wall on Friday, falling to Class D-2 No. 7 Central Valley 46-20 to open the season. Fletcher Dubas The Warriors found the end zone first when Fletcher Dubas connected with Roe Patton for a 26-yard catch and run. But there was a lot of game left to play.
