CEDAR RAPIDS — The Warriors picked up their first win of the season on Saturday at the Riverside Invite.Fullerton defeated Chambers/Wheeler Central, 24-26, 25-15, 25-23, in a back-and-forth match. The Warriors also lost on Saturday to Osmond, 27-25, 12-25, 25-13, and Riverside, 27-10, 26-24.

Warrior fall to No. 4 Cougars, Chargers

GREELEY — The Warriors’ early season struggles continued in Greeley on Thursday.Fullerton was swept on the road by D-1 No. 4 Central Valley, 25-9, 25-12, and Riverside, 25-7, 25-16. The Warriors struggled at times to get into their offense against opposing heavy hitters.

Warriors fall to Cougars in season-opener

FULLERTON — Fullerton opened the volleyball season on Thursday with a three-set loss to Cross County.The Cougars cruised to a 2510, 25-15, 25-9 win. Fullerton (0-1) struggled at times against Cross County’s size and dominant hitters.Riley Thomas led the way with 7 kills, 6 digs and 2 aces.

GRAND ISLAND — The common theme on Friday night at the annual Crossroads Conference vs. Goldenrod Conference All-Star game was “fun.”Heartland Lutheran High school hosted the all-star matchup of both conference best graduated seniors which was dominated by the CRC by a 4-0 count.

Warriors fall in 5 sets at subdistrict

Fullerton’s volleyball season came to an end on Monday in the D1-6 Subdistrict at Nebraska Christian. Fullerton fell to Riverside, winning the first two sets, 25-23, 25-19, before dropping three straight sets to the Chargers, 25-22, 2519, 15-7. Official stats from Monday’s match were unavailable.
