Titans drop pair to St. Paul/Palmer, Fairbury

OSCEOLA — A water main break in Genoa brought spring baseball to Osceola last Tuesday afternoon.Due to the break the game between the St. Paul/Palmer and the Twin River was moved to Osceola.

Twin River boys finish 5th at High Plains Invite

OSCEOLA— Twin River boys finished fifth on Wednesday at the High Plains Invite at Osceola.The Titans finished with 38 points. Nebraska Christian took home the team title with 101 points.Caleb Rood won the 400-meter dash (54.90) and the 800-meter run (2:10.71).

Warrior boys win own track invite

FULLERTON — It was delayed because of weather, the field shrank, but when all the dust settled, the Warrior boys won their own invite.Fullerton finished with 120 points on Monday. Central Valley finished second with 93 points. Twin River boys finished sixth with 63 points.

Area golfers complete busy golf week

ALBION — Fullerton and Twin River golfers just completed a busy week, competing twice in Albion and once in Central City.The two teams finished the week on Saturday at the Boone Central Invite at Albion County Club. The Warriors finished fifth, while the Titans finished 10th.

STANTON — Twin River continued its golf season last week with a triangular at Elkhorn Acres Golf Club.Corbin Rodriguez finished with the low score on the day, carding a 41. Gavin Vanek shot a 46. The Titans shot a 210 as a team.Stanton finished with a team score of 188.

Titans fall to Mustangs in walk-off

RAYMOND — Raymond Central scored four runs in the final three innings to beat Twin River 7-6 last Monday.After falling behind 3-0, the Titans scored one run in the third, added four runs in the fourth and one more run in the fifth to take a 6-3 lead.
