STANTON — Twin River continued its golf season last week with a triangular at Elkhorn Acres Golf Club.Corbin Rodriguez finished with the low score on the day, carding a 41. Gavin Vanek shot a 46. The Titans shot a 210 as a team.Stanton finished with a team score of 188.

Titans fall to Mustangs in walk-off

RAYMOND — Raymond Central scored four runs in the final three innings to beat Twin River 7-6 last Monday.After falling behind 3-0, the Titans scored one run in the third, added four runs in the fourth and one more run in the fifth to take a 6-3 lead.

Titans open season with 1-4 record

GENOA — After a pair of losses to open the year, Twin River was on their home turf on Tuesday as they hosted Thurston-Cuming County in Genoa.The Titans erased a 4-2 deficit with a seven-run third and tacked on five more in the fourth as they rolled to the 15-5 five-inning final.

CRETE — Twin River got their first taste of track competition on Friday when they traveled to Crete of the Doane indoor meet.The indoor atmosphere gave the Titans a good look at where they stack against other teams before the outdoor season began this week.
