Titans struggle against Centurions

CAIRO — The Twin River offense struggled to gain traction in their 79-20 opening week loss to Centura.“Centura is a good team,” Twin River coach Kalin Koch said. “I knew they had a lot of good players. They have good coaches.”The Titans (0-1) opened the game with a balanced run-to-pass offense.

Runners begin in St. Paul

ST. PAUL — Fullerton and Twin River opened the cross-country season on Thursday at the St. Paul Invite.Fullerton’s Tate Wood was the county’s top finisher, coming in 11th with a time of 19:02, which was 10 seconds faster than he ran the course last year.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — A pair of Twin River wrestlers are coming home with some hardware.Cade Kunkel and Braxtin Fowler joined the Nebraska Lakers to go 8-3 overall and take second place in the silver division, finishing 10th overall out of 35 teams in the developmental division.
