Titans top Wildcats on road

MAXWELL — Twin River scored early and often on Monday when the Titans traveled to Maxwell-St. Pat’s to take on the Wildcats.Twin River took a commanding 15-0 lead after three innings and the Titans cruised to a 16-3 win in 5 innings.

Titans win quad by 2 strokes

LEIGH — Twin River held off Howells-Dodge by two strokes to win a quad that featured Stanton and Madison.The Titans finished with a team score of 194. Howells-Dodged finished with a 196. Stanton shot a 211 and Madison rounded out the varsity teams with a 275.

Warriors, Titans compete at Fullerton Invite

FULLERTON — Home cooking never hurt anyone.Fullerton played host to 11 teams on Tuesday for the Fullerton Invite. Twin River made the short drive for their second outdoor meet of the season.Fullerton’s boys finished third overall with 72 points.

Titans rally for second win of season

GENOA — Twin River scored 8 runs in the final two innings to come from behind and beat Centennial 11-7 and earn their second win on the season.Trailing 5-3, the Titans (2-3) opened the bottom of the fifth inning with back-to-back batters getting hit by pitches.

Titans finish 6th at Aquinas Golf Invite

DAVID CITY — The Titans opened the season against six other teams on Thursday at the Aquinas Golf Invite at David City Golf Club. Clay Brandenburger Twin River finished sixth with a team score of 392. Scotus took home the team title with a score of 316.

Titans look for improvements every day

GENOA — It’s a long track season and Twin River is looking to see improvement each time they step on the track.“Every meet they have a goal to improve from the last one,” Twin River coach Mindy Swanson said. “We are big on ‘PR’s’ within our team and celebrate them after every meet.

Titans bring back good nucleus of players

GENOA — Twin River has entered year No. 2 of its baseball coop with Osceola.This year’s squad features 11 players from Twin River and six players from Osceola.

Titans, Warriors shine outside

CENTRAL CITY — Area runners got their first taste of outdoor track season last Tuesday.Fullerton and Twin River traveled to Central City High School for the Merrick County Invitational. Teams were not limited on the number of entries for this meet.
