FULLERTON — The children of the Fullerton Community Church Sunday School were pleased to present Deputy Lathan Woollen of the Nance County Sheriffs Office on behalf of Zina the drug dog with $150.The children enjoyed their fall mission project as they made and sold Puppy Chow.

LINCOLN — Governor Jim Pillen is announcing the receipt of federal funds to aid in the recovery from storms that impacted multiple Nebraska counties June 20 – July 8. This is the fourth time federal funds have been awarded to the state due to severe weather this year.

City of Fullerton recognizes two employees

Two city employees, Rick Mangus and Mitch Lane are celebrating 25 years of employment with the City of Fullerton. Mitch started with the City of Fullerton on June 27th of 1999 and Rick started September 1st of that same year.

Fullerton receives 10 trees through grant

FULLERTON — Ten trees were delivered Tuesday morning outside city hall.The city received the trees from the Ten Free Trees Program, an effort of the Nebraska Forest Service and the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum. The trees are part of Fullerton’s Trees are Beautiful project.

STANTON — Coltt Kremlacek needs your help.Kremlacek, a former Fullerton student, was injured in a motorcycle accident in the early hours of Aug. 11 in Council Bluffs. He was wearing a full-face helmet at the time of the accident.
