Red Wagon Parade set for Sept. 6

FULLERTON — The Warriors are ready for Homecoming.The Red Wagon Parade and Pep Rally down Main Street will be at 3 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6. Fullerton will take on Nebraska Lutheran at 7 p.m. on Friday for the Homecoming Game.The festivities will begin around 3 p.m.

Annual Neighborhood Watch Bar-B-Q held

For the past 16 years Liz Zarek has held her annual Neighborhood Watch Bar-B-Q on the fourth Thursday in August. In 2008 Fullerton’s police department invited members of the community to get to know their neighbors as part of a neighborhood watch initiative.

County OKs 2024-2025 budget

FULLERTON — The weight of what happened in Lincoln will be coming to Nance County.The Nance County Board of Supervisors unanimously passed the 2024-2025 budget on Tuesday. This is the first budget passed since the Legislature voted to pass LB34 last week before ending the special session.

What better way to celebrate the end of summer than cruising down Broadway? Fullerton was the destination to be on Saturday night for the Betterment Committee’s Cruise Night. Between the classic cars, motorcycles and yes, even a riding lawn mower, Cruise Night offered the community a night out.

Fullerton schools continue budget talk

1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

Cruise Night returns on Saturday

FULLERTON — Cruise on down Broadway on Saturday.The Fullerton Betterment Committee is sponsoring a second Cruise Night. Wheels will start rolling on Broadway at 7 p.m.River’s Edge Meat Locker will be serving a pork sandwich meal.
