Pumpkins have popped up all over the area! Pumpkins in all shapes and sizes and colors—I even saw a white one a while back! Pumpkins perched on porch steps, lurking on lawns, sitting near scarecrows…A few years ago we even saw a little trick-or-treating munchkin dressed like a pumpkin!

Birth

Adam and Shelby Bialas of Fullerton are proud to announce the new addition to their family. Ivy Lyn was born Oct. 7, 2023. She weighed 8 pounds, 13 ounces and was 19 inches long. She is welcomed home by her older brother Miles.

My dear hubby served as pastor of a little country church here in southeast Nebraska for almost four decades. The white board church sets in a valley, and looks very similar to old-fashioned churches often pictured on Christmas cards.
