Farmers wanted for conservation fellowship

LYONS — Applications are now being accepted for the Center for Rural Affairs’ Beginning Farmer Conservation Fellowship program. Beginning farmers who want to deepen their conservation knowledge are invited to apply.

Card Shower

The family of Bill and Judy Johnston are requesting a card shower in honor of their parent’s 60th wedding anniversary on Feb. 16, 2024. They are both longtime residents of Belgrade and graduated from Belgrade High School in 1960. Cards can be sent to Bill and Judy Johnston, 205 E.

Beef certification offered

Genealogical society to meet

The Boone-Nance County Genealogical Society will hold a regular meeting on February 12, 2024 at the St. Edward Public Library, 302 Beaver Street, St, Edward, at 2 p.m. We are planning on a program focusing on the Find a Grave website.

100 DAYS & COUNTING

Tabi Pickrel’s kindergarten students marked the 100th day of the school year by going to the old gym and taking 100 steps, batting balloons in the air 100 times and making a 100 out of the students in the class.

YORK — During National FFA Week February 17 through February 24, Central Valley Ag (CVA) cooperative will donate 10 cents from every gallon purchased to empower the next generation of leaders through the Nebraska FFA Foundation.
