The Warrior Speech Team is currently about halfway through their season, recently bringing home experience and hardware from the Humphrey High Sweetheart Meet.

The support will help defray the costs of safely and efficiently moving the books and shelving so the new carpet can be installed.

CCC-Columbus Music Department to Present Spring Concerts

Columbus, Neb.– The public is invited to two concerts being held by the Central Community College-Columbus music department. The first is a band concert at 3 p.m. on Feb. 26 in the campus’ Fine Arts Theater. Performing will be the CCC Concert Band under the direction of Krista Vazquez-Connelly.

COLUMBUS, Neb. — Tim Recek of Columbus was recently promoted to Carpenter/Utility at Loup Power District. In his new role, Recek is responsible for the construction and maintenance of District facilities, such as substation foundations and buildings, office buildings, and retail offices.
