Corey Jordan of Beatrice was the winner of the Journal Football Contest with only one miss. It was Liberty vs BYU and almost everyone chose BYU but Liberty won the game. Corey will receive $15. Three people missed only two picks and Sam Brower of Omaha won the tie-breaker for $10.

The records of Sts. Peter & Paul Parish in Krakow is meager. The St. Stanislaus Parish in Duncan records that the first Polish settlers at Duncan arrived directly from Europe as early as 1869. From this was created a new parish in Krakow, two miles southwest of Genoa.

The benefit of Meals on Wheels offered to Fullerton residents helps many of them remain safe and independent in their home. Also, many residents on a limited income cannot afford the cost of a meal. The cost of $6.25 per meal offers a hot meal along with the affordability.

COLUMBUS, Neb. — Tony Miller of Columbus has joined Loup Power District as a Plant Operator at the Columbus Powerhouse.As a plant operator, Miller monitors and controls the three generation units at Columbus and remotely controls the Monroe Powerhouse.
