LINCOLN — One game does not define a season.Fullerton saw their season come to an end on Thursday in the opening round of the Class D2 State Championships at the Bob Devaney Sports Center, falling to the No. 2 seed Wausa, 61-33. The Vikings used a 23-point second quarter to take control of the game.

No. 7 seed Fullerton takes on No. 2 Wausa on Thursday

LINCOLN — There is no easy road once you get to Lincoln.The Warriors continue their quest for State Title on Thursday when they open play in the Class D-2 NSAA Boys Basketball State Tournament. The No. 7 seed Fullerton (17-8) takes on No. 2 Wausa (23-3) at 6 p.m. at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.

KEARNEY — The Warriors are headed to Lincoln.Fullerton punched its ticket to State last week, defeating Garden County 48-29 to win the D2-6 District Title at Kearney Catholic.“I can’t be prouder of our guys,” Fullerton coach Will Wagner said.

Fullerton’s boys basketball team is heading to State this week after the Warriors defeated Garden County 48-29 in the D2-6 District Final held last Wednesday at Kearney Catholic.
