Warriors enter rebuilding season

FULLERTON — The Warriors will look to build on success from the past as they build for a successful future.Fullerton has four girls out for golf this season. Coach Shawn Ostransky said this will be somewhat of a rebuilding year for the Warriors.

Warrior runners conditioned to win

FULLERTON — Cross country runners are a different breed.Most teams begin their season with running to get into shape for their sport. In cross country, running is the sport.“Runners earn their ticket to state during the summer!” Fullerton coach Jordan Wetovick said.

Success starts in the summer

High school athletes all over Nebraska saw their first official day of practice this week as the fall sports season got underway.For some athletes, this week was just a continuation of what they have been doing all summer. Fullerton senior Keila Dubas is one of those athletes.

The Central City Stampede won the 12U Class C State Softball in Hastings recently. The team outlasted 28 other teams to take home the title. Two of the players on the roster have Nance County connections.

Raptors secure spot at State this weekend in Hastings

The Nebraska Raptors 14U softball team out of Silver Creek and consisting of girls from Fullerton, Genoa, Silver Creek, St Edward, Albion and Lindsay placed 1st at District Softball in Grand Island, securing a Spot at Class C State Championship in Hastings this weekend.
