Titans, Warriors complete first test

ST. PAUL — Fullerton and Twin River cross country runners got their first taste of competition on Thursday at the St. Paul Invite at the Miletta Vista Winery.Fullerton’s girls team finished fourth in their race. Fullerton’s boys finished seventh, while Twin River finished 10th.

GENOA — Twin River is ready to make a splash this season.Entering a new conference, the Titans will see a lot of new competition as they incorporate Crossroads Conference teams into their schedule.

Titan softball finishes second at Wayne Invite

WAYNE — The Titans improved to 3-2 on the year and finished second at the Wayne Invite on Saturday.Twin River opened the day with a 9-5 win over O’Neill. They advanced to the title round with a 16-5 win over Centura. Wayne used a big second inning to secure a 13-6 win.

Fullerton 8U baseball finishes season 2nd in East division and 4th in tournament

The Fullerton 8U baseball team finished the regular season with an 6-3 record to finish in 2nd place. In the league tournament Fullerton finished in 4th, after narrowly missing the championship game with a 1 run loss.The team would like to thank Amber Hamik and Leslie Pickrel for keeping stats.

Titans walk-off for win

GENOA — The Titans opened the season with a split at home on Thursday.Twin River dropped the first game to Guardian Angels Central Catholic, 9-7, before bouncing back in the night-cap with a 12-10 win over Blue River.

Warriors finish 4th at Central City 3-Man Scramble

FREMONT — Fullerton opened the season with a fourth-place finish on Thursday at the Central City 3-Man Scramble at Valley View Golf Course.The Warriors’ team of Keila Dubas, Kinzie Sharman and Lylla Sabata finished six strokes off the leaders with a 76. The trio played 18 holes in Division I.
