Deputies crash underage drinking party

RURAL NANCE COUNTY — Police interrupted an underage drinking party at an Airbrb in southwestern Nance County.Deputies were dispatched to a property near the intersection of 140th Avenue and Pleasant Valley Road. A caller complained about loud music and several minors consuming alcohol at a party.

UNK receives $2M in federal funding to address state’s early childhood workforce shortage

A good neighbor, Mike Santin

Mike Santin was recently presented with a certificate naming him an Admiral in the Great Navy of the State of Nebraska. He was presented with the honor by Nebraska State Senator Loren Lippincott. Santin, 62, attended Fullerton High School and now works as a farmer.
