Nitrate model aids producers with nutrient management

In February 2023, the Lower Loup Natural Resources District Board of Directors passed a rule to allow the Lower Loup NRD (LLNRD) to assess all agricultural fields within the District’s three groundwater quality management areas annually for the purpose of locating potentially problematic sites.

Beef certification offered

Fill up for FFA at CVA

YORK — During National FFA Week February 17 through February 24, Central Valley Ag (CVA) cooperative will donate 10 cents from every gallon purchased to empower the next generation of leaders through the Nebraska FFA Foundation.

Residents can apply for early voting

Nebraskans who would like to vote early for the May 14, 2024, statewide primary can now submit early voting applications to their county election office.

Looking back at 2023
