No. 4 Warriors get wins over Eagles, Bearcats

FULLERTON — The Warriors added two more victories to the win column last week.Class D-1 No. 4 Fullerton (10-2) picked up a 64-25 win over Nebraska Christian at home on Thursday and then a 62-57 road win over Hampton-Heartland on Friday.

Warriors compete at Bobcat Invite

EWING — The Warriors had a strong showing on Saturday at the Summerland Bobcat Invite.Five Fullerton wrestlers found themselves on the podium at the end of the day. Mason Hemmingsen (113 pounds) and Tate Wood (120 pounds) won their brackets. Isaac Carey finished second at 285 pounds.

Warriors show improvement in losses

FULLERTON — The Warriors remain winless on the season, but they continue to show improvement on the court.Fullerton dropped a pair of games last week, falling to Nebraska Christian 51-31 at home on Thursday and Hampton/Heartland 47-36 on the road on Friday.

District assignments announced

The district assignments for the 2026 football season have been announced.The Titans will play in the D1-3 district. In addition to Twin River, other teams include Cedar Bluffs, Cross County, David City, Nebraska Christian and Tekamah-Herman.The Warriors will play in the D2-4 district.

Warriors finish 3rd in holiday tourney

HUMPHREY — The Warriors bounced back on Tuesday to finish third at the Humphrey-Lindsay Holiday Tournament.Class D-1 No. 4 Fullerton (8-2) got back to their winning ways last week, picking up a 61-49 win over Shelby-Rising City in the consolation game at Lindsay Academy.

PLEASANTON — Fullerton comes out of the break with holiday champion at the Pleasanton Invite.Fullerton finished 13th overall out of 25 teams. Kearney took home the team title, edging Elm Creek by 2 points.Tate Wood was the 120-pound champion.

LINDSAY — The elusive first win still evades the Warriors.Fullerton fell to 0-9 on the year, dropping a pair of games at the Humphrey-Lindsay Holiday Tournament held last week at Lindsay Academy.

Wetovick eclipses 1,000-point mark

HASTINGS — Fullerton heads into the holiday break following a 52-37 win over Silver Lake on Saturday at the Heartland Holiday Hoops Classic at Hastings College.The Class D-2 No. 3 Warriors (7-1) didn’t pull away until the second half.
