Community Builders to meet in Albion April 24

Community Builders announces the next town tour to be held in Albion on Thursday,April 24, 2025. The tour begins at 11 a.m. at Boone County Ag & Education Center at 2616 Fairgrounds Rd. Lunch will follow at noon at The J Sports Bar & Grill.

Council holds special meeting

FULLERTON — The Fullerton City Council met on Thursday to approve two appointments in a two-minute special meeting.The council unanimously approved Patty Noble as the city’s new City Administrator and April Sack as the city’s new Zoning Administrator.

The Fullerton Powerlifting Team participated in the Class-D State Powerlifting competition on Saturday. The meet was held in Harvard and featured teams from across the state of Nebraska.

Ciancio Hardware to close doors

FULLERTON — A local business has announced they will close their doors for the final time next month.Ciancio Hardware announced on Monday that they will be closing permanently on April 15. The business has been on the market since October.

Fullerton library buys books with grant

FULLERTON — The Fullerton Public Library was recently awarded the Children’s Book Project grant from the Pilcrow Foundation.Founded in 2013, the Pilcrow Foundation’s mission is to provide new, quality, hardcover children’s books to rural public libraries across the United States.

Fullerton was well-represented in Lincoln last week. The basketball team competed on the court, while the band performed during the game.
