Residents can register to vote

FULLERTON — Fullerton residents need to make sure they are registered to vote if they want to help decide the future of the 0.5 percent sales tax.Residents can go to the DMV or the Nebraska Secretary of State’s website to register to vote.

Veterans Memorial receives $1,000 grant

The Nance County Veterans Memorial and Military Resource Center recently received notice that they were awarded a $1,000 grant from the Nebraska State Historical Society Foundation. The grant will be used for the creation of a children’s library.

Property valuations continue to rise

FULLERTON — Nance County residents will soon learn just how much their property has increased in valuation.Nance County Assessor Megan Zoucha said that many residents will be receiving a Notice of Valuation Change in their mailbox sometime in June.

The Fullerton community joined others around the nation to pause on Monday and remember the veterans who are no longer with us. A light rain could not stop the close to 150 people from gathering at the Fullerton Cemetery.
