Nance County Fair kicks off this week

FULLERTON — Fullerton will be the 4-H capitol of Nance County this week as the Nance County Fair begins.The fairgrounds have already seen the first action with 4-H’ers completing the Fashion Show and Clothing Construction interviews on Tuesday.

Schools OK cell phone policies

GENOA — The Nance County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an explosion that occurred just after 11 p.m. on July 4.Sheriff Ben Bakewell said that a homemade explosive was set off in the 400 block of Willard Avenue.

DAYS OF FUN

Crowds flocked to the Nance County Fairgrounds last week for the Nance County Festival. The festival kicked off on Thursday and ran until Saturday and featured live music each night, plenty of food to eat, a free carnival in the baseball outfield and fireworks.

Ag society continues improvements

FULLERTON — The Nance County Festival opens this week and there has been plenty of work behind the scenes to bring it to the community.The Nance County Ag Society are always working to make improvements at the fairgrounds. This year is no different.
