Foundation presents $5,000 check to veterans

Nance County Foundation board member, Lisa Lassek, presents a check for $5,00.00 to Ken King, Board member of the Nance County Veterans Memorial & Military Resource Center, for the funding project of an extension to the existing Museum and Resource Center.

Chloe Lee Malander, daughter of Greg and Brittanie Malander of Belgrade, was born Oct. 30 at Methodist Women’s Hospital in Omaha. At birth she weighed 4 pounds, 12 ounces and was 18 inches long. She is joined at home by big sister, Christine. Paternal grandparents are Joe and Brenda Malander.

Pumpkins have popped up all over the area! Pumpkins in all shapes and sizes and colors—I even saw a white one a while back! Pumpkins perched on porch steps, lurking on lawns, sitting near scarecrows…A few years ago we even saw a little trick-or-treating munchkin dressed like a pumpkin!

Birth

Adam and Shelby Bialas of Fullerton are proud to announce the new addition to their family. Ivy Lyn was born Oct. 7, 2023. She weighed 8 pounds, 13 ounces and was 19 inches long. She is welcomed home by her older brother Miles.
