Mueller promoted at Cornhusker Public Power District

Brian Mueller was promoted to Meter/Apparatus/Substation Technician at Cornhusker Public Power District. His duties are to install and maintain load control equipment and apparatus, install automated meter reading system meters, maintain regulators, and repair oil circuit reclosers.

Snyder Retires from Loup Power District

COLUMBUS, Neb. — Scott Snyder retired from Loup Power District after 30 years of service. Snyder joined Loup in 1992 as a Maintenance Man at the Genoa Headworks. He was promoted to Dredge Operator in 1998 a n d was named Headworks Operator in 2018.

Bosak Signs Letter of Intent

Kinslee Bosak, a senior at Bishop Neumann in Wahoo, signed a letter of intent to continue her athletic and academic career at the University of South Dakota. Kinlsee will be a member of the track and field team for the Coyotes. She is the daughter of Kevin and Jillian Bosak.

TITANS CORNER

The Twin River Lady Titans Girls Junior High club team had a total of 4 wins and 1 loss in their first two tournaments of the season. They will play two additional tournaments in February to round out their season. The girls played in their first tournament in Aurora on January 21.

Junior High Boys with Two Additional Wins

Junior High boys basketball played Twin River in Fullerton on Monday, January 30th. The B Team won 23-12. Scoring was led by Jakob Supik with 7 points. Kyle Horn and Kingston Samuels with 4 each, Landen Glup 5 and Evan Gleason 3. The A Team won 45-8.

Directors of Veterans Museum And Resource Center Begin Planning For Expansion

The Directors of Nance County Veterans Memorial and Military Resource Center have made a decision to build an annex to the existing building which was constructed in 2009. This extension will be added to the west end of the current building. Approximate size of the addition is 40’x50’.

Wells Receives Nebraska Headgate Award

Mike Wells, general manager of Twin Loups Irrigation District, was honored with the prestigious Nebraska Headgate Award at the recent 2023 Four States Irrigation Council meeting held in Fort Collins, Colorado January 11-12, 2023.
