In just a few days, on Good Friday, we will honor and celebrate the death of Jesus Christ. We will join together to celebrate because we know that without the death of Jesus we would have no provision for the forgiveness of our sin nor the sure hope of eternal life.

Alda woman dies in Sunday accident

A 54-year-old Alda woman died on Sunday after her motorcycle struck a deer on Highway 22 north of Fullerton.Emergency responders were called to the scene at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday after a deer ran across the highway and struck the motorcycle that Penny Earl, 54, of Alda, was driving.
