Board of ed discusses AI use in schools

FULLERTON — The Fullerton Board of Education voted on Monday on two policies involving artificial intelligence within the district.The board adopted Policy 6038 (Student Use of AI Tools) and Policy 4065 (Staff Use of AI Tools).

It marked the end of a journey for the 16 members of Fullerton’s Class of 2026. Commencement was held Saturday afternoon and it offered the graduating seniors one last chance to be together on campus before they start the next chapter of their adventures.

FULLERTON — Fullerton FFA is looking to add a greenhouse to the district’s campus.Josie Loseke, Fullerton FFA adviser, told the Fullerton Board of Education at their meeting on Monday that they are applying for grants to construct a greenhouse.

Fullerton students shine at district music competition

Fullerton students received high marks at the district music competition.Lylla Sabata received an outstanding performance for her French horn solo. Elena Reimer received an honorable mention for her piano solo. Reimer and Emilyn Kurz received an honorable mention for their flute duet.

Fullerton, Twin River students earn medals at Speech State

KEARNEY — Nance County was well-represented at the State Speech meet.On Saturday, Fullerton’s Everett Gleason and Lylla Sabata competed in the Class D Speech Competition. Sabata was the runner-up in Persuasive Speaking and finished fifth in Extemporaneous Speaking.
